Tonight I felt like being hugged, so I went through my section offering hugs to everyone. Erin said she had just been telling her friend that she wanted a hug, and there I was. I feel really good now.

I'm moving to London after this. I swear it. I just talked to Nancy Simon and cried afterward, because it's so frustrating to hear another person telling me it's going to be hard, especially someone whose opinion I respect and care about as much as Nancy's. Today was an up and down day, but I went for a walk at night with Kate, and it made me really happy. It feels -so- good to feel Really Happy. Sometimes it is hard for me to find that feeling. My dog Nessie died today. She got really sick this week, apparently something that had been going on for a while and is only detectable when it's really advanced. We put her down today. I held her in my arms. Poor puppy. She was a very good dog.

I'm back from LA! It is good to be home with my family and pets, although I miss my crewmates very much. We were together pretty much twenty-four hours a day, so I just feel...fairly bored and mechanical without them right now. But I love that it rained here my first night back.
