Well, I ended up getting a new job with Massage Envy about a week ago. So far it's been everything I thought it wouldn't be. I expected to find an assembly line type system with therapist fighting for clients and competing with one another. It's Monday afternoon and it certainly has not felt like a Monday at all. I've been productive, excited about life, and very very energetic.
These passed few weeks have been a roller coaster of sorts. I've lost, regained, lost , and then regained again a house.

This passed week was rough. My Dad's father passed away, efforts for our new home fell through, but all in all, I managed to strive through it with my head held high and more determined than ever in my goals.
The house may be out of reach as far as owning it goes, but there is a small glimmer of hope... We may be able to rent it until we are able ( Read more... ) -
On the edge again
Once more I've found myself at a pivotal milestone in my life. I'm trying to become a homeowner and finally remove myself from the endless cycle of renting. I'm currently chin deep in the mortgage and financing process and have recently found myself at a place where the next two weeks will bring to fruition the dream of home ownership, or present ( Read more... ) -
Post Spring Break... update.... a bit late.... sorry
During spring break, I drove and drove and drove. I covered over 1800 miles, and visited/toured no less than 9 places, saw some long distance friends(good to see you Sherri) and stayed with my uncle for a few nights. During the 23+ hours of driving that I did, I had a lot of time to think, introspect, and discover... and that is exactly what I ( Read more... ) -
UPDATE!
So after many years of preaching that I would some day get out of this city, this place, this state; it seems that it will finally happen. My move will be in Jan. of 2009, and it will be to Florida. There I plan to set down some roots for about 5-6 months and then get back on track to working in Physical Therapy in some way. The specifics are ( Read more... ) -

Blargh
I've been sick for the past week. It all started out as me just thinking everything was catching up to me. The 3 "jobs", 14-18 hour days kept busy with school and work and school work, and my weekends being occupied with just work(about 24-28 hours worth). EWWWWWW!
This past Friday, I went in to work for a few massage clients. With about 15 minutes to go in my second massage of the day, my client lets out a horrific fart. She comments that she really has no shame and that at least it doesn't smell. I start smelling it, and begin holding my breath.
