I hate grading weekend
Of course I have to be a good wifey and help Jeff double-check all his grades, which are due tomorrow. At least they'll be done on time. net access problems continue
My ISP says it's not them, but a problem with my phone line, static in the line that's not allowing the modem to connect. sigh. Whatever. so I scheduled a service call and hopefully the can fix the problem. maybe just water in the connections or something. it's supposed to be finished by tomorrow. Actually, sleep time. My story's turned in... now I just have to cram for my Philosophy mid-term tomorrow. Heh. And then I need to start working on the second story. I have NO CLUE what the second one is going to be. -

More about the writing class & life
During the quarter we'll each be writing two short stories. We turn in a draft, Ken (the professor) reads & writes comments, then we get in groups of four or five, read each other's and comment. We go home, revise, and turn in a final version. Each story is worth 100 points of the grade in the class (500 points total). We get up to another 100 ( Read more... ) -

The really awesome short story
I'm usually not into literary, but I guess this counts. I read it because of the title, flipping through the table of contents to see what's in here, and how could I not read it pretty much right away?
