Josh and I went out to get some poles for a Bean Tent. Years ago, I'd mentally noted a spot beside our townhouse for a good place to get poles. Red alder grows fast, straight, and each tree isn't strictly speaking an individual organism so I didn't feel bad cutting 8 sturdy poles for our tent.

This time last pregnancy..
.. I would have had one episode of liver pain already, and would be headed to the hospital tomorrow. Instead, I get an enormous belly, and my previously comfortable bed has become hard and not-sleep-promoting. I am Very Happy with the trade. Sandbox - and _I'M_ the one with the sunburn :P
J made Josh a sandbox over two weekends. It's nice and big, with a bright red lid to keep cats and rain out. J had the brilliant idea of adding two big rocks, to give a sort of topography to the sand. So far, we only have a few bags of sand in the box. Sweet Jezebel has a new home
Sold my car to a lovely musician-artsy type today. He managed to get us to agree (mostly because I thought it was fair enough, and didn't expect anything to go wrong) to revisit the sale if he drove it and it blew up, but he drove away this afternoon and didn't come back so I guess it's working well for him. Part of the reason why I'm willing to 'risk' a home birth after a c-section. Also, some excellent thoughts on birth plans, and why they don't really help that much. -
Seriously...
...if I keep posting so much today, I'm going to have to start twatting with the rest of you crazy desk jockeys. Who knew that avoiding the necessary but unpleasant task of waking a toddler from his always-epic (and thus bedtime-disrupting) nap would make me so 'productive'?!
