I don't own a scale either. :/ I was thinking of getting one. The last time I got weighed was when I last went to the doctor which was like ......... two years ago. (HURRAY NO HEALTH INSURANCE HA HA.) I only know I've lost some weight because I went down a size. But I don't really know what that translates to in weight. D:

I get so mad when someone throws out my lunch...Listen hon, weight loss is BRUTAL! It's like this: Your goal is like getting into a castle. The castle of fitness and feeling great. But to get to it, you have to swim across the moat. This moat is filled with alligators and pirahnas and is 50 miles wide. It's going to take ages to cross it, but you'll lose weight, think of it as the pirahnas and alligators slowly nibbling it off your body. So one day you'll get across the moat and make your way into the castle, and even though it was hard and it took a while it will be SO worth it in the end when you finally walk through those doors feeling fit and trim and healthy!
I don't think you veered too far! It's not like you pulled into a 7-11, bought a pint of Haagen Dazs, and ate it in the parking lot.
Not like I have ANY experience with that, or anything. /:
You did wonderfully! You paid attention to what you ate, exercised (any amount counts right now).....all you gotta do is keep this up. Just pay better attention, and move a little. It feels like a little, but it's not! You're right about the science. Don't make too big a move at first.
Don't beat yourself up over anything. I noticed you do this...it's like, how can I beat myself up today, how do I suck, let me count the ways.....
Oh I do it too. We all do it too. I find when I give myself a break from beating myself up, things get better. If only I could stop doing it permanently. Worth a shot, for both of us.
DID YOU KNOW that yesterday I ate two donuts? I'm having trouble with this, I mean, seriously. I had to force myself to post it. I considered lying, it's easy to do online, hmmmm.........BUT I DON'T.
