Felony convictions and the right to vote.
I could be wrong, simply voicing my opinion here, but does it occur to anyone else that the inability of felons to vote may perhaps have an effect on what kinds of laws are considered felonies and which kind of laws are passed, perhaps with the intention to "weed out" (pun intended) certain potential voters?
