I have a good friend who is 47 and much to her and her 53 year old husband's surprise, they found out the were expecting. Boxes are taking over the family room. Dishes, toys, and assorted other items have enveloped the kitchen/sunroom/office.  Matthew has hauled a huge box up into the living room for Luke to play in. This morning as I snuggled Luke and kissed his sleepy eyes and warm face and welcomed the new day with him, my thoughts were with Janice and her family.

Which as anyone who knows me knows is unusual.  They seem to have all left me, especially after reading this lj this morning.  I don't even know her, but I can't stop crying.  No, I can't stop sobbing this morning.  The pictures she posted of Abby are heartbreaking and breathtaking at the same time.
