I support Cablevision's rejection of ABC's rate increases. I do not mind loosing ABC and ESPN because of it. I am glad my cable company is willing to stand up for their customers. -
35mm
The replacement body for my Minolta GX-M arrived yesterday, and the seller was nice enough to include batteries, so I could start shooting right away. Results from the first roll of 35mm film I've shot in about 10 years are in! I cannot afford a DSLR. A Sony A100 seems to be the least expensive piece of hardware available. After adding the cost of lenses, a flash, and a remote shutter, the total cost would still approach a thousand dollars. My solution is to return to 35mm. Microsoft doesn't get it. They have an experimental .NET Framework which provides an STM implementation, yet warn of performance degradation by using it. The purpose of STM is not to simplify locking semantics, but to prevent unnecessary locks. Prime number drinking game
Pick a person to start the game and give him/her an arbitrary nonprime number to factor (153 is my fav). If they can factor the number (any one factorization), postincrement and move to the next person. If the number is prime, or they cannot factor the number, the player drinks.
