Man, January is depressing. There isn't even a reason for it, so I can't figure out why. I think I'm alive mainly because inertia: things that are living go on living until an external force makes them stop. Election Endorsements
Pretty much the same as the primary: I voted straight down the Democratic ticket with the exception of Peterson for Secretary of State and Marshall Tuck for Superintendent of Public Instruction. Recipe for a Minimally Functional Kitchen
I have an apartment! Yay! Since my stuff is all still in California, my mom and I packed me a few things to borrow in the meantime. Since we had a bunch of other things to carry, this meant we tried to find the minimal amount of stuff to have a functional kitchen. Here's what we packed: Equipment

So on Tuesday, I accidentally left my sandals at Sanaz's place-the day before I was scheduled to fly out, so I took out a Zipcar to fetch them. At midnight. I got there, parked, fetched sandals, and sat outside to use their wifi to try to confirm my tickets. Which, turned out, had been rejected. No fly.
