Salt All the Things
So, I took a quinoa dish to a potluck, and people were like "This is amazing, what did you put in it?". I put salt, garlic, and olive oil. Not really that amazing. But people thought it was amazing, which brings me to my point: the proper use of salt is under-appreciated by the masses.

Progress on mistcloak!
I have acquired very, very, very pretty fabrics (two-tone gray chiffon, gray-silver two-tone organza, silver sparkle tulle). I've been warned that chiffon & organza are very hard to work with, but a project like this should be inspiring! They're so pretty it makes me want to do the work. So pretty. *-*

Cozy
is being home after a long day outside, warm, showered, fed, and in a clean, well-lit, & cozy bedroom safe from the foggy cold.

Aging
Within the past year, the reactions I get from strangers have gone from "You look N years old!" to "You look N+7 years old!"
I find this very disturbing (I aged 7 years in 16 months), and its messing with my sense of self-identity. I feel like now, I really have to act like a grown up, because I look like one, and I don't want to be a grown-up. ( Read more... ) -
Taipei 101: Frustrations of a workaholic
I'm here all week. Tuesday went out to dinner with lots of colleagues. Wednesday went out to dinner with lots colleagues. And then worked midnight to 1:30am due to telecon.
