For March, anyway. Started the week with a lot of errand running and the quest for rain boots for one of ConTessa's costumes. Had some misses, but found a pair on sale for $7! Very excited. She found one she liked that is the exact same style as the last three dresses I've bought her, slightly different because this dress didn't have pockets, and, of course, different material/pattern. So, the schedule for St. Thomas's show included set breakdown today. When we arrived at the school to help, we were informed that the stage crew did not want the cast to help break down the set after all. Well, St. Thomas's show is now over - on to the next thing -- getting his grades back in order and prepping for ConTessa's show and the girl scout Father Daughter dance, which will be at the end of April and the beginning of May respectively.

Even with a lot of activity on the horizon, I hope the routine at home will become more manageable.

Another school night show for St. Thomas. It makes it both a late night and a tiring morning and it's a trend I hope the school moves away from. When they're only allowed two weekends for shows, it is a way to get more people the opportunity to see it (and the shows did sell out), but traffic on weeknights and parking at the school are both more ( Read more... )

So there is a little snow on the ground (though not as much on the street as I might have expected), and the school district has already made the "no school tomorrow" call.
