I like that the wind and the cold do not prevent me from walking through campus while enjoying my mint-chip ice cream cone from Pierce. It's an interesting feeling when the ice cream doesn't taste too cold because the wind is a little colder. And I think the people I passed may have been confused by my grin and intermittent giggles.

Silly.

So deathly tired and never finished with my work. Never quite prepared for classes, but loving them all the more for it. (Except Stat) AND...

also, I will never be finished writing about Nightmare Alley. Ever.
(The assignment was 15 pages. I'm at 18, but not nearly finished yet. It was due yesterday, but this is how much trouble I am having parting with it. I'm going to keep writing forever and ever and ever and ever and...)

I am going to the University of Chicago <3 and I could not be happier with this decision. As much as I was seduced by the Free Love at Reed and the abundance of funding at Harvard, I belong in Chicago, and when I stopped second guessing myself, I realized that.

Why am I such a tramp about everything? I can't choose a college because I let myself be seduced by everyone and everything. And right after realizing that my relationship is perfect and awesome, I realize that it is still a secret from my family, and at some moments, from myself. It's ok to have a scone and order coffee to go with it, as long as you are careful that the coffee doesn't make the scone soggy, and you know that the coffee will run out eventually and the scone will be ok without coffee and perhaps with tea instead. Too many good choices for college is a problem you wish for until you have it. I still don't know about most schools, but already deciding between Hampshire, UChicago, and Harvard. What? I hope I get rejected everywhere else because I can't handle any more possibilities. Yes, I deserve to be smacked in the face for having this dilemma.

Walking down Mission. Man whose description is all of the following to the extreme: drunken, grizzly, toothless, homeless, old, giggly, adorable; compliments my "Nice tie."
