I lied about something. It happened a while ago, but I kept up the secret from someone who did not - who does not - deserve to have secrets kept from hir. Now the issue is coming to head, and I could easily keep lying. I can't, though, because of my guilt complex the size of Canada. Besides, no one deserves to be lied to about something, well..... Day of Silence, 2009

The day of silence is a day when students all of the country (the world?) do not speak at all, or in school, or when they can be silent, in support of those who cannot be open about their sexuality, for fear of harassment, discrimination, or even violence or job loss.
