But when you tell people that you're not buying christmas presents this year, and they acknowledge that, but buy you stuff anyway...you kinda feel like an ass.

Missing work is helpful for my back pain. But I am worried about missing 4 days pay. I can get by without going hungry at least- Bills are paid for the month. However, I'm even more worried if I have to undergo surgery...how Sarah and I will afford to live if it takes a month or more for me to recover. Scary times.

I feel like my spine is growing out of my butt. Standing or walking requires me to shift my upper body weight onto one of my hips, and alternate as necessary. I walk with a cane. Things hurt tremendously. I feel embarrassed to be around people and make fun of myself before they can make fun of me ( Read more... )
