I've always said I wanted to be a high school math teacher - partly because when I was growing up I felt more of a connection with my teachers than my family, and partly because when I was a Cub and Boy Scout leader, I discovered that I actually liked working with kids.

Heroes of Ribhus at Origins
Well, looks like our convention campaign Heroes of Ribhus is going to be going to Origins in June.

If I ask you a question, am I asking you a question?
So someone asked me this:- I know that James has been logging process memory at "V:\Some Long-Ass File Name With Spaces In It\FieldSiteTracking.xls" (Memory Sessions Tab) and that spreadsheet does not show any significant increases for Site X.
Is the above spreadsheet enough to conclude that the processes did not get big during that time period? -

Nothing new but...
Nothing new today, but I posted a follow up to my rant below about my D&D campaign.
It's funny how the people who are not a problem tend to be the ones most willing to change for the better, while the ones you want to change seem to be the most resistant. -

So I handle the project tracking for our (huge) project here at work, which means I also have access to all of the efficiency figures, i.e. how much of a person's day, on average, is spent actually accomplishing something vs. answering email, attending meetings, helping other people accomplish something, etc ( Read more... )
