REJECTED!
Well, I submitted my first article ever to a magazine (Kobold Quarterly, for anyone counting), and it was rejected. It was a D&D article, of course, called The Heroes' Guide to Elementals.
Am I surprised? Hell no, with both Dungeon and Dragon out of business due to the finance monkeys at WoTC, I'm competing with some pretty serious big names, ( Read more... ) -

D&D 3.5E vs 4E
Well, WoTC is doing it again - they're putting out a new version of Dungeons & Dragons. They're perfectly entitled, of course, as it's their product, but it sure hoses me up.

So I recently moved from Java to C++ after a close to 10-year hiatus. Holy crap. It's like someone intentionally made the language difficult to write code in.
