Music is a universal, I think. I can't name one person who isn't fond of it. Though I think it affects everyone in different ways. I've always had a soft spot for classical music, especially melodious piano compositions. I'm one of those people who will tear up during a piano piece simply because I think it is beautiful. i think instrumental is my favorite as well. it goes to show that words dont mean everything. aside from explosions, i listen to a band called red sparowes. i love isis because their songs are a good 7 minutes long, and for half the song, there isn't any words. even so, the music is very passionate and you can tell they put so much of themselves into their music. i love when bands/artists do that, because THAT evokes so much emotion in me. even shai hulud does that, because i know that they put so much of themselves into every single song. some bands it seems like they write because they have a due-date they need to release another record by.

i could talk about this forever, but i wont. haha

i hope to make this summer an amazing one as well. i may not be at camp, but this gives me more free time to just relax and be in the presence of my my loved ones.

If you are an instrumental admirer, I would reccommend checking out the soundtrack to Punch Drunk Love by Jon Brion, he's a brilliant composer. The movie itself is amazing, and it's soundtrack is hugely melodic and wonderful. I'll burn you a copy of it if you'd like!

We have a keyboard that we dont use that much, but I definitely doubt that my parents would let me give it away. If I had a way to let you borrow it for the summer or something then I totally would. Like I could take it to camp and then you could come up to camp sometime to visit and take then down with you... or something, i dont know.
