Just finished Behemoth, the sequel to Leviathan and really enjoyed it. Both are YA books but good reads. I'm getting ready to read Clockwork Angel and it looks really good. I'm working my way through Factotum which is 3rd in the Foundling's Tale series. These aren't really what I would call steampunk but I'm liking them. It's an AU world full ( Read more... )

We have spent the last 3 days moving books and building shelves. What a job! We moved our book sale storage up to the top floor where our new book sale room is and all our craft/decoration/and junk storage down to the bottom floor. That sounds easy, right? Of all my Xmas movies I love that one the most. I just watched it and it made me so happy and yet sad as well. The best moments of it are the ones in silence, the ones that move you with nothing more than the expressions on their faces. It's not Christmas until.............you hear Celtic Thunder singing Christmas songs! I really want to see them if they come to Kansas City.

We cleaned the whole house, cooked the food and made polite conversation. No fights, no being annoyed at anyone - so it was a good holiday. But is it over yet, 'cause I really just want to veg out. And of course there is nothing on TV and I don't have anything on DVD I want to watch!!!

Went to the RenFest on Saturday. It was perfect - weather, crowd, friends - everything. We got our picture taken because we hadn't had it done at one of these things in years.

....made me sleepy. The only good parts were the scenes with Wilson. The rest is just not doing anything for me.
