Tigger never really recovered from anesthesia used for a dental procedure back in March, and he was fighting his treatment more and more. He'd lost almost 6 pounds since February (from 14.5 to 9something) and wasn't showing signs of getting any better. The new Miata has been great this year....it's so much more car than the old one and is really challenging me to push harder.

So far this year I've done 18 days at the track, and run 3 time trials with COM. In those I've placed 3rd, 3rd and 1st (and set a class record this weekend). I've been blessed with good students at all of the schools I've ( Read more... )

London was beautiful yesterday. saw the eye, and did lots of walking around to fight the jetlag. super easy flight and trip into london. Hotel rocks (it's right off Hyde Park). Back in November, Jaggery and Molly Zenobia played at the Speaker Project, which was an art installation at the Mass College of Art.
