I just got my w-2 with my paycheck and immediately filed my taxes online. So I should be getting my refund directly deposited in my account in the next couple weeks. Who wants to drink tonight? Anybody? Seriously? Drinking!

PS - if you former strandsters need your w-2's today would be the day to call.

My student loans went through yesterday for this semester. So a check should be on it's way next week. I'm gonna have so much money. And then I calculated what my total grad school debt will be when I'm finished: $37,000. Booyah. Let's go drinking with the money I've got now, 'cause I sure as hell won't have it in a year.

Last night I claimed that I wasn't coming to work today and that I would use my MLK holiday pay. I set my alarm regardless and woke up this morning and decided I might as well come here. We got new nametags at The Strand today. My first response was "we still work in a job where we require nametags." They make a fun popping noise, though.
