There hasn't been a homestarrunner.com Sbemail for 10 weeks. It's over.

Was just watching the news, and the guy that holds the world record for the Marathon is in Melbourne.

The world record is 2 hours, 3 minutes and change. I couldn't do that on a pushbike.

Ford Australia have confirmed that they will be continuing building engines in Geelong for longer. I am stoked. Long live the straight 6!

Toddled off to Melbourne with Mum to see my brother and sister for the weekend. Mum's being a seamstress for a wedding that my sister's a bridesmaid. Got to my sister's place (which I'd never seen, despite her living there for a year and she's moving out in a month or so) and hung out with her, my brother, his g/f and most of the wedding party. Everyone should use the Mouse on their computer in their left hand. I'm getting used to it again, and it's actually easier. Typing and stuff can be done right handedly while the left hand only has to cope with pointing and clicking.

Woke up and got moving fairly early for a saturday and went to pick up the Trike from the bike shop. They weren't expecting me, so I've pottered around Eaglehawk rather than go home and wake the beautiful wife ( Read more... )

A hand operated tricycle!

It was built for a disabled boy in Bendigo, and fell into disuse after he grew out of it, and his parents/carers didn't know how to make it bigger.

I now own it. Photos are being taken as we speak.

I went to get it about an hour ago, and couldn't find it. Went across to the police station (across the road) to report it, and there's a guy there waiting to see someone. He says 'I've got one you can have, I've just bought a motorbike'. It's a better bike than mine, but in need of maintenance - back wheel's buckled, and it needs new tyres/tubes, ( Read more... )
