So I hit up the ER last night for the first time in years.
Apparently ceramic plates can do damage to extremities, such as the feet.
Three stitches later, I'm all sewn up, but sadly I have to wear socks for the next 7 days.
I'm not even supposed to go barefoot in the house.
We'll see how that goes. -
Family Time
Teresa and I took Nana out to La Fuente for lunch today. They have a Sunday Brunch and Mariachis Thursday - Sunday, so Nana spent a lot of time talking to the mariachis about the songs that they knew and how she learned them all from her papa when they lived on the ranch. So evidently today, well, no, yesterday, was the most depressing day of the year. The reasons are vague, weather, post-holiday budget issues, lack of fulfillment of new year's resolutions, that sort of thing, but I just had to wonder who took the time to try and figure out which day is the most depressing.
