NYAF/NYCC thingy
So, awesome - seeing a full page ad for Otakon, with my artwork, in the NYAF/NYCC program guide. I didn't know they were going to do that. Not so awesome - 96,000 people attended, every one of which would have gotten a program guide, and no one will ever know it was my art ( Read more... ) -
Why Square, why?
Maybe I'll just blame the Enix half. I give Final Fantasy XIV extremely high marks for sound and vision, and excruciatingly low marks (can I give negatives?) for interface and content. Seriously - only four parts of one main quest per starting town, then fewer than one side quest per *level* in an area? The game is 100% grind - kill the same half ( Read more... ) -

Yesterday, nimgrim, yusaku-godai, and I went into NYC to go to B&H for more supplies for Otakon - another backdrop support, some paper, and a monitor calibrator. Having finally moved up in the world and purchased a large format printer, it quickly became apparent that having five differently calibrated monitors in active use in the house was messing up some very ( Read more... ) -
