I have come to realize that life is a series of don'ts from the time we are born until we die. As soon as we are born we hear -"don't cry" then it progresses to "don't touch". I went out on the porch and let Sam in to eat. Gave him some food and talked with him a bit. At 5:30 this morning in full dark the silly neighbor's rooster began crowing. It is not even close to daylight, so he isn't heralding the new day. I can't understand what he has to crow about anyway. He isn't much to look at, so he can be crowing so every one will look at him , as if they could see him in the dark anyway. I've seen the pitiful ( Read more... )
