I keep saying I'm going to post the latest news, but I never get around to it. I'll just have to put up pieces here and there so that I don't disappear for periods into thin air. Personally, I kind of worry about my Internet friends when I don't 'hear' from them in awhile.

I just received an email regarding a book drive:

New Orleans Public Library is asking for any and all hardcover and paperback books to restock the shelves after Katrina. The library staff will assess which titles will be designated for the shelves. The rest will be distributed to destitute families or sold for library fundraising.
