Oh hon, I'm sorry for your mom's health problems, and sorry that you have these long drives to help manage them. It is probably better that you do not go until the eye issue is resolved if it is possibly contagious. Is your brother able to do the checking in on her until you are well?

It is tough managing school and real life along with others' health problems. :hug Hope the doctors can get her feeling well again soon...

I really wish I could use my eye as an excuse, but my poor brother has been dealing with her pretty much by himself since she got out. My final project was due the day I was down there with her and I told them I had to turn it in. He needs support with her as she can get very difficult. The Doc also said as long as I don't hold things up to my face it shouldn't be contagious.

They're right, people *do* get sicker in the hospital -- especially if their immune systems are already down.

Oh, I know you are correct about the getting sicker bit. And I'm sorry if my tone implied I was unhappy with the decision. I 'll try and fix that.

LOL, I hope things settle down too, but I think I was cursed to live in interesting times. But it was a form of the word interesting that I wasn't really to keen on knowing.

I've been doing what the Dr told me and If by next week it is not better I'll be going back as per his instructions.
