Tonight I’m going to meet dichroic and her husband. I look forward to it as she is one of the few people I met online. Ten years ago, when Son was newborn we also got connected to the Net. And in the sleepless nights that you have when you have a wee baby I joined a group that discussed Dorothy L. Sayers novels about Lord Peter Wimsey. It was great fun,

It sounds to me as if the second job would be preferable for you, as well-- particuarly in a country with serious social supports. (Which the US had 'em.) I hope it proves to be an option!

I think so too. I will know next week if I will go to another interview
