So. I don't watch American Idol, but my parents told me I had to watch the auditions this week because someone I know was going to be on it. Who else could it be but Adam Lambert? I had a dream last night about bombs falling a few blocks away and German soldiers coming into the house and stealing my signed copy of The Time Traveler's Wife but nothing else. I don't understand my brain sometimes.

So apparently I really need to start listening to some new music as everything I have right now just makes me depressed because it reminds me of something. So. What are you listening to right now? What would you recommend to me?

Spending all day looking at wedding pictures of happy couples is awesome, by the way.

I always feel like an idiot for crying so easily over things and at times when I'd rather not cry. At least I'm not the only one who has this problem. These made me feel better and worse all at once. At least two of these made me tear up for various reasons.

Last month I applied for an apprenticeship to work at the Oakland Zoo, I had an interview last week, and today I got an email saying they accepted me! I got the new position I applied for! Starting Dec. 1st, I will no longer be calling 150 brides everyday! No more mass emails, no more weekly quotas, no more being hung up on. Instead I will be matching photographers to couples and helping to screen photographers who want to work for us. Hurraaaay!

Last night was...a bit of a disaster.

It was the Outside Lands Festival in Golden Gate Park, and I was going solely to see Beck and Radiohead.
