The Walking Head
I died about three weeks ago, and have been regenerating ever since. It wasn't gruesome or violent, and am getting used to the smell. But it's difficult not to check emails and LJ from work, even though I know it's treacherous, especially as a temp. So I'm less dead now, but still wingless and concentrated. Tampons, Accidents And Near Misses
There was a ruckus one block down from work today. Apparently, Barrack Obama was visiting with his PR advisor (who works in the building a few blocks down from where I work), and a small crowd had gathered outside. Delicious wood fired pizza (calabrese; anchovies, green olives, tuna, mozarella, yum) tiramisu (the best, ever, MY GOD, Wade nearly wanked under the table - and Wade doesn't EVER wank under tables, in public), coffee, nicely sloshed on red organic wine (BYO, thank you), riding our bikes tipsy and happy. * Slept 'til noon.
* Had a picnic lunch in the park.

* Took photographs at the park and in the community garden.

* Saw a vehicular hit and run and assisted the victim with car description and condolences.
