I love the autumn; the slow tempering of the weather, cool breezes, dying leaves, crisp scents, and gentle rain. Yesterday we had four out of five. Today, while 70F and sunny, is still full of promises and teasing zephyrs. You can tell they're just warming up for the fifth act, practicing to be winter bastards. But, for now, they are fun

So, Saturday, my friend Hale and I went to the Bears game. After a long and crowded ride on the Red Line, we stopped at Roosevelt station. This is about .25 miles from the stadium, and should have been a short walk. About a month ago, I saw an old advert for Sears, starring Gloria Estefan. Instantly, her song 'Turn the Beat Around' became stuck in my head.
