Had a great weekend. The weather was perfect, we are finally getting some real fall weather. Such a break has been long in coming, from such a blistering hot summer. When to a party Saturday with Matt and some other friends, had a blast and did not drink to much.

Well, I have calmed down from my earlier rant. Just some things irk the shit out of me and that was one of them. Anyway started a landscape early this morning, to early to say what I think about it yet. I will do some work on it tonight, I should no by then If its working or not.

Did not do a FKN thing last night. I had planned all day, after work I would go in the studio and turn out some more sketches, maybe even paint a little. what did I do? Went home, fixed a drink, sat on the couch and turned on the TV. Geez what a waste. Fixed dinner, during that time I kept telling myself "after I stuff my face I'll go and draw". ( Read more... )

Had a very productive weekend. Photographed some of my work (I felt was fairly good), finished a painting, and did about 20 or 30 sketches. No model so they were all of myself. Not bad. Had some good response to my new post. I have been unsure of the new direction my art has been heading.
