That's really not so bad a way to go. I know I want to be warm and have a full belly when I die. Your daughter is amazing.

i'm sorry that you and your daughter had to experience the loss of little smeagol. no matter how short a time they are around, it always is sad, especially when you two tried so hard and heartfully. but, like you said, at least she was cared for and had warm souls to send her away. you both put a little more goodness into the universe with your kindness : )
