i was so productive today! none of it has been school related - but i've been toying with the idea of turning sundays into the day where i make food for the week and clean the house so that i can focus on work during the week. being that i haven't cleaned in a really long time this was a pretty daunting task. but look at everything i accomplished ( Read more... ) -

when you meet a person, what are the first things you try to find out about them? my friend asked me this a couple of weeks ago. i had never thought that there were specific things i wanted to know about people right away but as we were talking i realized the answer was very clear. i like to know people's queer status. i also really like knowing ( Read more... ) -
oh reality
this is usually my favorite night of tv, being that i get to watch ANTM and Project Runway all within 3 hours. but this week:
ANTM = nonononononononono. no.
PR = ridiculous at the moment. there's till 1/2 an hour to go. but my hopes are not high.

i lay in bed last night from 11:30 to 6:30 and i estimate that i actually slept for about an hour of that time. i hate insomnia. really. now i have to go have my teaching evaluated by a faculty member. thanks, sleep. thanks a lot. -

i just had a dream that i was on the berekely campus trying to get to the bart station. i was walking down a hill when suddenly there was a spiral staircase that was all enclosed. i start going down and it splits off into two paths, so i follow the one labled for the bart station. but the paths keep splitting and suddenly i'm in a maze of these ( Read more... ) -
