Before buying my house and combining auto & home owners I had Progressive. From my perspective they were very good. You can manage everything online, including signing up.
When I smashed my Passat, they were easy to deal with. A call to report the accident and set up a rental. And they paid out a fair market value for the car when the totaled it.
So they did right by me when I needed to use my insurance.
I used to have Progressive, and they were great but a bit more expensive than what I have now with State Farm (and all of the same specifications as I had previously). In fact, my payment when I moved would have gone up $40, and in joining State Farm with Bryan, it went down $30, thus $70 less than what I would have been paying with Progressive! :) But it sounds like your payment would be comparable with all three, and I do not know about the other two!
It's possible that your price went down because you are now a joint policy with Bryan (I assume) and have two cars on the policy as opposed to one. Also, I think they look at a married person as less of a risk than a single person.
Personally, I would go with Geico only because I think the Gecko is awesome. Especially since he got the British accent :)

I used to have GEICO for the LONGEST time, but after only one incident the rates skyrocketed and they even threatened to drop me - I think their underwriters are just a little too jumpy. Progressive is who I have now and they are VERY easy, nice, convenient, and competitive with price. Also, every "renewal" time, as long as nothing has happened in the past renewal period, rates continually go down (although I know many companies work this way, including GEICO, I feel Progressive gives a better rate). Also, they allow you to compare the prices and will give you the lowest rate you find. And, if you pay in full each period (rather than spreading it out), the discount is very good.
I have geico as you well know and they are great. I even checked the box that says "I avoid silver Jetta's at all costs" and got an additional $100 off. Their rates are low, I like their online site, although I've never made a claim with them so I have no idea how good they are in handeling that.
The only down side is that when you sign up they promise the gecko will come and visit you, and I haven't seen him yet!
