I just read something on Wikipedia that blew my mind:

As of 2004, Los Angeles County's population is larger than the populations of 43 states.

I'm trying to decide whether or not to try and stick it out in LA for a little while and try to save up some money, or whether I should strike out for some distant corner of the world. I've always kind of wanted to be an ex-pat.

I think I'll move out as soon as I can transfer three years of downloaded music to CD.

I remember that when I put my passport away, I briefly thought, "I shouldn't put this here. It's going to be a bitch to find later." Why didn't I listen to myself? I have no clue where I put that bastard, and I can't find my birth cirtificate either. I guess my grand Baja California plan is going to have to wait.
