 Oookay I've got this Springfield thing figured out now.  They sent cards to 80 people on the Civil Service list and are going to hire 40, but they're going for laterals (people who are already full-timers) and residents, so there's not a chance.  I'll go put my name in anyway ... and if they call me, I'll drop out of this academy and go to theirs ( Read more... )

I bought my camera yesterday!  It's a Canon Rebel XT!  Cost me a pretty penny...but I'm planning to have it forever.  Should be here today!  Can't wait.  Not that I'll be home, I'm going to work right now and won't be back until 1am tomorrow morning.
