This is the second year in a row that I've sent some of my adult goats off to a friend's house to do brush clearing in her backyard.

Help save the Icelandic Goat from extinction!
Over in my journal I've written up a brief summary of about the struggles of Háafell, Iceland's only commercial goat farm and home to approximately half of the world's Icelandic Goats. Right now the farm is in danger of foreclosure and if that happens all the goats will be put to slaughter.

Is this thing still on? I feel a little bad for letting this community falter. I loved the idea of it and all. Anything to do with goats, really... but I don't do livejournal anymore and I never was good at socializing. Conclusion to the Medical Mystery
I wanted to let you all know how things turned out with our little buck. : )
The after I posted the scours cleared up. We still don't know what caused those, but this isn't our first kid to have a brief attack of diarrhea.
