So Fanny is doing well on all the herbal remedies and stuff? A friend just had to put a stray down that she adopted a year or two ago. Looked like diabetes but the cat would never let her get close enough to treat it.

Actually I stopped giving her the herbal remedy last fall. She's been doing great without it. I've also changed her diet BIG TIME! Since I'm home more often I just cook her regular fish or give her raw baby shrimps instead of canned foods. She's been so wishy washy with canned foods lately. But she still loves that "cat's milk" by whiskas.
That's the thing I love about herbs vs. medication. Herbs do the job and then you can stop taking it but medication is something that has to be taken for almost a lifetime. The vet gave her 3 months and she's made it to 3 years! This is a true example of determination paying off! :-)

That's the thing I love about herbs vs. medication. Herbs do the job and then you can stop taking it but medication is something that has to be taken for almost a lifetime. The vet gave her 3 months and she's made it to 3 years! This is a true example of determination paying off! :-)
