Being a cat, Toby had discovered, wasn't actually all that bad a fate. Sure, he couldn't talk or do much on his own, but Stan and Sam had been pretty good about making sure he had stuff to eat and a place to sleep. Airports, Toby was discovering, were both a blessing and a curse to a currently-homeless teenager. The blessing came in the form of there always being plenty of food to snatch off abandoned plates as people realised they were late for checking in to their flight, or for picking up someone from arrivals, or a myriad of other reasons.
