Conquest 2 [Audio. Knox failed to filter it to the Hyperion. Not that Illyria cares.]

Nov 02, 2010 14:53

I am Illyria. The green one spoke of introductions for myself. I am charged with protecting the green one's domain and I shall. I warn all possible intruders. Shall you invade this territory, I shall make trophies from your spines. I am done.

[Audio ends.]

Dogs? This shell has memories of such creatures. Once massive hounds roamed the Primordium. They snarled and howled for hours. They claimed their domain and were loyal to me.

Now they are small and servants to man. Forced to be degraded to friends. No longer having the ferocity they once had. But it seems the loyalty remains.

Yes. I like dogs.

Why spines? Ain't it a lotta work keeping track of all the little bones?

The spines are malleable as well as durable. They also strike fear into others. There is no chance for a enemy to survive the extraction as well.
