I can't imagine that the culprit, whom I will be having words with, is planning any sort of serial cat slaughtering campaign. Might you have merely, I don't know, left the cages open in a fit of irresponsibility?

As I stated, I am investigating all possible causes. It does not mean that I believe someone has swooped in and dragged the cats out to slit their furry little throats and write in their blood, I just had to prove that that is not what happened.

The cages were shut and locked, that has been proven as well.
