I'm wondering if anyone is still using Livejournal.

It's been a long time since I've even thought of LJ. I continue to get birthday notifications but half the time they are no longer active in LJ. Acanis' birthday is today. Today I learned not to put cold milk into melted chocolate and expect to add it to your icing. I tried melting it again but grew impatient waiting for it, so I added the chocolate paste to my icing. It's bad when you don't remember your password. It's been awhile since I did an entry. It's the eve of my 57th birthday. I'm not sure how I feel. The numbers are fun though. Watching "King of the Hill" while typing this entry on my laptop. A laptop that I won from a local drug store. I read a LJ from a dear friend (internet son). It was great. It puts to shame my not writing about my trip to Orlando. Maybe I will get that entry done. A goal.

I'm getting my teeth cleaned later today so I better get some sleep.

I'm disappointed that I missed Sunday School & Church this morning. Woke up in pain and with not enough sleep, so took something and went back to bed. I woke up later with much less sinus pain. Later went to the movie theatre with my son to watch "TinTin" in 3D. It was great fun. They did a superb job with the story! I'm so glad our theatre had a ( Read more... )

LiveJournal forces me to think and actually write entries that make sense. Facebook is for the quick and short remarks. Although, there are some on FB who write long tombs, not my favourite reading I might add. I enjoy FB for the games and the immediate knowledge of what everyone is doing. Entries that is! CW & I have been averaging a movie a week. We saw "Winne the Pooh" on the 1st of August, last week it was "Captain America" and tonight it's "Cowboy & Aliens". Our little theatre has been bringing in the new movies along with 3D technology. I've seen several 3D movies now. They are interesting but some don't live up to the hype. ( Read more... )
