Well, it's Andy and my first Valentines day together, by coincidence we are also celebrating our 6 month anniversary. I was hoping we could go out for a dinner tonight, but with him ill it will need to be put off. I just found a Googlewack. Completely by accident, but I found it none the less. And it's bloody annoying, since my search query was to find more information about the topic. We got our Certificate of Approval for marriage! So now it's offical we can marry! YAY!

Well, all the wedding invites have been either posted or handed out for both the US and the UK. I feel bad about having to send the UK ones 2nd class but we just cannot afford the postage to send them all First. I decided today to try and make Mrs. Schmiedekamp's Forgotten Cookies. Despite the recipe being in American units of measure I was able to approximate the amounts needed and the mixture turned out perfectly. Including making my own chocolate chips out of good British chocolate. The problem of course was in the baking. I got the heat right, and ( Read more... )
