I know I haven't posted any photos for a while but I just have to share this one. Last night we were sitting in the guesthouse restaurant and I saw something fall from the roof. We are now in Phitsanaulok, which is fairly uninteresting. The train was obviously late, by about an hour and a half. Nice and comfy though and we were fed for free and it was mostly edible. I went to pick up my laundry the other day, and couldn't see anyone around so went upto the door of the house and called "sawadee khaa" (hello). There was just a little boy dancing around he the room, he was maybe two years old. We left for the treck on Thursday morning, and luckily it was quite an overcast day so we didn't have to walk in horrible heat. We had to drive for quite a while out of the city towards the jungle (we also had to stop to wait for another van to pick us up because the steering wasn't working at all!).
