In New Zealand I got very used to talking to the same people everyday. Now that I have no one to talk to, it is time to post my rambling thoughts to the Internet.

Day one:

I have had quite the urge to start reading books again more regularly in the past while, but every time I look at my bookshelf to pick a book, none of them really appeal to me. I have A LOT of books and a fair amount of them I have not read yet ( Read more... ) -

So last time I met my Internet Japadog friend, I was slightly crushing, but then he was moving to Australia so I decided I just had to get over it.
Now, after the message he sent me I am crushing even harder! Also, message makes it seem like it is reciprocated.
Now I need even more to get into school, quit work, and go visit him in Sydney.

I am scared for my first Bunny Ride tomorrow. I have not done well on group rides in the past and I have not done the trails they are riding tomorrow. But, I do not want to go beginner because I can do those trails without any challenge.
I am so nervous I started biting my nails again! I was doing so well!

I have this stupid schoolgirl crush on one of the maintenance guys at work (the electrician). He most definitely talked to me for longer then usual today. Still about kitchen things, but he made a couple of jokes. Anyway, I did a little silent 'squee' afterward.
So silly, but I find him adorable. -

I wasn't going to go to the funeral. I made my peace. We said goodbye. Then I realized I was still upset about not going. So, I am going to ask for two more days off work. It is a really good thing that my manager really likes me. I will be tired as heck after this trip, but it will be worth it. Shortest trip to Toronto ever.
