I have so many people on facebook who I only soooooooooort of know and they write things and I want to comment on them but then I'm like "no, I'm not one of this person's actual friends so that would just be weird, wouldn't it?" and then I can't decide whether I'm being polite or introverted.

That's all.

PS- new B'Elanna icon! Klingons kick ass.

I have most of the people I only sort of know kicked off my feed these days. It allows me to be polite and accept friend requests without having to pay any attention to anyone *g*

PS - Vulcans > Klingons

I've kicked off anyone who really is like 8 degrees from me but there's a bunch of people who I know kind of marginally- esp through student politics and queer stuff- and haven't gotten rid of cos they're interesting

PPS- Now I really want you to get to Voyager so you can watch B'Elanna beat Vorik's pon farring ass up :P I will even direct you to a commemorative screencap: http://voy.trekcore.com/gallery/albums/3x16/bloodfever_393.jpg

Most of the people who I don't know well are people I went to high school with and stuff like that, so I really don't care what Buffy character they're most like *g*

Aw, no miniskirts in Voyager? They're the best part of TOS :D

Pfft, I worry about leaving comments even when it's a close friend. I'm not worried how my friend will react, but what about the several hundred other people who could potentially read it?

I agree with what mrmooky says. I know that my friends, or close acquaintances will probably not mind, but there are other people who may think "who the hell is this shithead?" For example this person on badger-c's LJ was all nasty with me thinking that I was claiming that all Christians were Bible bashers and anti-gay after b-c posted about his own Bible-"bashing" on LJ. This is quite funny as I still consider myself Christian.

Personally I love as many comments as possible. It reminds me that there may be a few people ou there who still gives a damn about my livejournal! =P

I just realised that you said Facebook in your original post, and not LJ.

Well, I guess that's slightly different. I have an idiot from work who makes stupid comments to my statuses and things that I do there, so I delete almost every comment he makes.

It depends on WHAT you say I guess. Keep it general and not something personal, because that's when people will think "how does he/she know that? why hasn't *person x* told me that?"
