Well, yesterday was my first class upon coming back and we made fried chicken! You know, the butcher is getting to know me by name cause of these classes. I bought whole chickens for this, cause I think the class enjoys chopping stuff up and you really can't get more into chopping than chopping chickens.

I also borrowed a bunch of personal friers

Steaks sound really good to me. We haven't had those in a long time.

Yeah, we really don't eat a lot of red meat either, so I don't feel guilty when we do indulge.

That was a really good class, Tuesday. Being able to make fried chicken is a big plus. Mikomi just loved it.

Oh yes, and the stuff you taught us to make is really good. It's better than any of the take-out stuff.

I'm glad things went all right with Jewel's mom. I imagine that had to be pretty tense for all three of you.

Yes, now another mystery has been solved! I told you, most of that stuff is scarier than it looks. You ran a big space ship, what's a few small appliances?

It was a bit tense, but we got through it. Now I'm just trying to explain to Angel that her mom needs time to let this all soak in.

Right. They're only scary when you have no clue how they work. My mom was never much of a gaget person growing up. I'm afraid I'm becoming one though.

I don't think it's nonsense. Everyone has prefrences, which is why I taught people how to make it both ways.
