Mon. Tues. and Wed. are our commuting days. Thurs. and Fri. we will drive separately. I just couldn't find enough things to do to make waiting at work productive. I cannot stand it when I take naps for longer than an hour or so. It totally throws off my whole day/night. I fell asleep at 5 and didn't really wake up until 9 so here it is approaching midnight and here I am awake. I would be better if I didn't have to work tomorrow. There are bumper stickers or shirts that say "I Love My Wife." Which is really good. I think if I had a shirt that said "I Respect My Husband" some ladies might think I'm a little weird. I know I'm in the right church when the pastor stops mid-sermon to say warmly, "Peder! Welcome HOME." when he recognizes Peder Swanson in the congregation. Peder is in the military and had just returned from a mission.

I'm reading a book called "Don't Waste Your Life" by John Piper and it's fantastic. It tells me what I already know and repeats the same message that is in thousands of other Christian "inspirational" books, but it tells me in a way that makes me want to leap out of my seat and exclaim, "YES!
