State of me...

Actually, I don't have one. I still haven't figured out why I haven't updated this and still don't regularly, whether it's lazyness or whether I figure it's a case of 'why bother, no one cares anyway', invoking my inner teenager, or just that I realize a lot of my stuff sounds like whining about stupid shit. I suspect it's a little of columns a, b ( Read more... )

I look for posts from you, never doubt it! I tried to send you an email a couple weeks ago, but there was no answer so I figured you're busy with that whole real life thing. :)

Mwah! You are fantabulous and if you say otherwise I will box your ears. Thank you for birthday wishes!

I was just thinking about you the other day - which may sound weird. Heh, but I was talking to inlerah, who knows tersa, who knows you about my LJ forgetfulness and how half the lj names I don't even remember who they belong to or where I met them from, But I remember you!! :)

I also have always liked your entries - I dunno, maybe because I always felt like in some sense I could relate.

PS, above poster gets awesome points for the icon.

Edit: Must be hungry, I said I like your entrees instead of entries. ;)

And here I was worried about you went you went into radio silence for a while. I'm glad you're back to posting. I like keeping an eye on you and hearing how you're doing, but thanks. And stick with liking Tersa's entrees, she's a much better cook than I am. :)

All of your "see above" reasons are pretty much why I'm not posting anymore either, and I, too, am not as in nearly as depressed a state as that would normally indicate.

We finished The Wire out, and was more satisfied by the ending than I'd ever expected to be. It was still a much weaker season than the previous four, but not as painful and awful as watching eps 7-8 had felt. Though I still watched the last two episodes expecting anyone to be shot in the head at any moment.

Yeah, I was satisfied with the end eps, but I'm sure you know why I was very disappointed with eps 7 and 8. I didn't think that anything would take the place of season 2 as the least liked of the seasons, but I think this managed it. Then again, I might need to watch all the episodes close together to get a sense of the whole thing. Maybe it'd be better not all strung out, and tinged with anticipation.
