Mili and Paul visited, which was lovely. Spent hours discussing current events and politics with Mili and Alex which is something I miss, cosplayers tend to discuss fabric and boobs. That's right, I'm requesting less tit talk and more consideration of policies :P

After a very brief moment of concern, Amecon registrations opened. Fighting our way past way too many 'captcha' anti-bot entries, Ailsa and I have registered.
I'm easily pleased, me ^_^ 

Bunch of us are heading out to Brizzle (gert lush innit!) tonight to take the mick out of Jake and Jack getting horribly drunk. Some people may give happy birthday wishes too, but I suspect that's just a rumour and it will mostly be mocking.

Saw Sherlock Holmes last night, still need to see Avatar. Not much of a cinema person usually, but found Holmes to be quite the enjoyable romp. It was entertainment not art, if you know what I mean, and a few liberties were taken with the source material but I found the characters likeable and engaging, the plot well paced, and the dialogue sound ( Read more... )

Ailsa has hinted that she'd like to visit Prague (and a dozen other European cities) while a seperate conversation with Mr Ilpala revealed that he consider Prague's xmas market to be among the best, and certainly the one he'd recommend to me as I don't drink alcohol.
